The entrepreneurial idea had existed for a while, says Lemen; the catalyst came when her last job was eliminated through downsizing in the banking industry. She chose the opportunity to “do something different” with her years of management and executive experience. “The second factor that led to the formation of the company was the desire to help other companies with their human resources needs” she says, plus Lemen adds, “The idea of forming a company from scratch was exciting to me.”

So, in partnership with Shinn, Dynamic Corporate Solutions, Inc. was formed, and they picked up their first project – a contract to create a university-style curriculum for a major downtown business. Major training, development and human resources consulting projects soon followed. The company is also “blazing new ground” by working with small business clients and not-for-profit organizations that outsource all of their human resources functions to them. Today the company is organized into two divisions employing 20 fulltime an six part-time employees.
