Each year, around the world, we promote the work and purpose of TIAW by way of gathering of engaged women leaders and members of networks in their respective region to discuss topical issues relating to economic empowerment, and to raise funds for the work of the organisation, our partners or specific projects and initiatives.

These are known as our ‘Global Cities’ events and provide our members, partners and allies with a boutique networking context to learn from each other and share best practices.

We also partner with other networks and supporters to promote our work and raise funds.

Last year events raised more than $11000 to support our work.

We also celebrate our World of Difference and other Signature Awardees annually:

• On October 18th 2023, in Toronto, Canada we partnered with IWF – Toronto and the Famous 5 Foundation; and:
• On November 14th 2023, we hosted an event in Paris, France we were joined by colleagues from FCEM and WCEI Australia as our event coincided with the 2023 FCEM World Congress.
• On October 21^st  2024 we held a celebration lunch in Sydney Australia for local and international World of Difference Awardees; we also once again celebrated with our FCEM and WCEI colleagues at their World Congress and recognised our Lifetime Achievement Awardee and Mandy Goetze Awardees at the Gala Dinner.
• Our 2025 celebrations of the World of Difference Awards were held in Melbourne Australia at the WCEI National Forum on 05 September and at an Awardee Lunch held in Athens Greece on 02 November (aligned with the FCEM World Congress).
